The increase in total electricity sold by the Corporation is mainly attributable to:

The Company’s power plants in areas such as Chongqing, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Fujian, Hunan, jiangsu, Gansu and Hubei experienced relatively strong growth in electricity generation;

2. Production from hydroelectric plants was lower than forecast, while thermal plants representing a higher percentage of the Company’s installed capacity supported rapid growth in electricity production. In addition, during the peak winter seasons, the Company’s thermal load remained at a high level, which further favored the growth of electricity production; and

3. The Company has continued to promote green and low-carbon transformation, resulting in rapid growth of new energy generation year by year.
