The 31-year-old is a .361 hitter at Citi Field with four homers and 13 RBIs in 22 games, with 0.325 hits in 11 games against the Mets this season.

Nora made the sixth shutout when Brandon Nimmo trebled with one out and scored with scorer Francisco Lindau. After making Pete Alonso walk, he was shot and Jose Alvarado hit Michael Conforto with three balls.
“I thought he had a good game,” Girardi said of Nora. “I thought he was running out of gas.”
Brad Miller and Freddy Galvis welcomed Brad Hand to their seventh consecutive double. Harper hit Trevor May’s brace with two runs and two outs and increased his lead to 5-1.
Dominic Smith had a single RBI pinch hitter in the Mets’ 7th inning. Nemo leads 8th place and is red at home.
Ian Kennedy threw a perfect ninth to win the 24th save.
Carasco allowed five hits with five strikeouts in six innings and two runs with two walks. He probably threw number 7, but smeared the pitch with his thumb by hitting number 5.
“I couldn’t grab the ball,” Carasco said. “That’s why they took me out. “
Despite the retirement of Segura’s home run, Carasco’s ERA has actually gone from 3:00 p.m. to 2:40 p.m. this season. His first career ERA was 4.44, up from 3.92 before 2021.

Nemo’s treble was second of the Mets’ three games, fifth of the month and eighth since Aug. 16, when Alonso finished 68 straight major league wins without a treble. The Mets have 14 triples this season, tying the club of 1999 to the lowest franchise record of three baggers of the full season.
Phillies: Girardi said LF Andrew McCutchen blew the wind on him as he made a diving catch to steal Jeff McNeil on his seventh hit. McCutchen stayed in the game after Girardi and the coach visited, and walked in 8th place after being pulled out by pinch runner Mickey Moniak.
Mets: RHP Noah Syndergaard (Tommy John Surgery) will practice batting on Sunday. This is the second time he has faced a live drummer since his rehabilitation was interrupted by a positive diagnosis of COVID-19. … RHP Jacob DeGrom (elbow) pitched mid-slope on Saturday, but still has no plans to face the batter.
Phillies: RHP Kyle Gibson (10-7, 3.49 ERA) is 0-2, 9.00 ERA with three starts this month.
Mets: LHP Rich Hill (6-7, 3.88 ERA) is aiming for the first win since beating the Tampa Bay Rays on July 23. Hill is 0-3 with 3.88 ERA in 10 Mets games (9 starts).
